Goat Cheese and Garlic Crostini
Crostini is a wonderful appetizer that originated in Italy. This garlic and goat cheese version offers a new spin on a classic and is ready in no time. Try these with Garlic-Roasted Tomatoes and Olives.
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
- Cut the baguette into ½-inch-thick slices.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil and garlic, then brush it over one side of each slice of bread.
- Place the olive-oil-coated bread in a single layer in the air fryer basket and bake for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix together the goat cheese and basil.
- Remove the toast from the air fryer, then spread a thin layer of the goat cheese mixture over the top of each piece and serve.
VARIATION TIP:
If you prefer a slightly tangier option, substitute feta for the goat cheese.
