Sea Salt Beet Chips

If you're looking for a healthy alternative to potato chips, these beet chips are a fantastic option. They are crispy, flavorful, and incredibly easy to make. This simple plant-based recipe is perfect as a standalone snack or can be a colourful addition to any appetizer plate.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 330°F.
  2. Using a mandoline or sharp knife, slice the beetroots into very thin rounds.
  3. Place the slices into a medium bowl and toss them with the olive oil until they are well coated.
  4. Pour the beetroot slices into the air fryer basket and spread them out into an even layer.
  5. Roast for 15 minutes, stirring once halfway through the cook time.
  6. Toss the finished beet chips with sea salt.
INGREDIENT TIP:

For a variety, try using a combination of red and golden beets to make a colourful mixed batch of chips.
