Salmon Burgers with Creamy Broccoli Slaw
These salmon burgers are Mediterranean diet go-to for burger lovers. Much healthier and far less heavy than a traditional beef burger, these satisfying patties have fresh dill and garlic notes, and some zip from bit of cayenne.
Instructions
To make the salmon burgers
- Preheat the air fryer to 360°F.
- In a food processor, pulse the salmon fillets until they are finely chopped.
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped salmon, egg, dill, bread crumbs, salt, cayenne, and garlic until it comes together.
- Form the salmon into 4 patties. Place them into the air fryer basket, making sure that they don't touch each other.
- Bake for 5 minutes. Flip the salmon patties and bake for 5 minutes more.
To make the broccoli slaw
- In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the broccoli slaw. Mix well.
- Serve the salmon burgers on toasted whole wheat buns, and top with a generous portion of broccoli slaw.
