Honeyed Roasted Apples with Walnuts
As a child, I always loved to eat baked cinnamon and sugar apples. These honey-sweetened apples are the grown-up, healthier version of that dessert. Fast and easy to prepare, these are a guilt-free indulgence made with all-natural ingredients.
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
- Core the apples and slice them in half.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the oats, honey, cinnamon, walnuts, salt, and olive oil.
- Scoop a quarter of the oat mixture onto the top of each half apple.
- Place the apples in the air fryer basket, and roast for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the apples are fork-tender.
