Honeyed Roasted Apples with Walnuts

As a child, I always loved to eat baked cinnamon and sugar apples. These honey-sweetened apples are the grown-up, healthier version of that dessert. Fast and easy to prepare, these are a guilt-free indulgence made with all-natural ingredients.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F.
  2. Core the apples and slice them in half.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the oats, honey, cinnamon, walnuts, salt, and olive oil.
  4. Scoop a quarter of the oat mixture onto the top of each half apple.
  5. Place the apples in the air fryer basket, and roast for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the apples are fork-tender.
